Green is not required to veto every bill indicated on the Intent-to-Veto list, but he cannot veto a bill that is not included and he has until July 9 to issue final vetoes.

According to the National Weather Service, a moderate south to southwest swell will bring advisory-level surf for North Kona, South Kona, Ka‘ū and Puna Districts through early Sunday morning.

Hawai‘i County created the one-way road, from Kailua Pier to the Hualālai Road intersection, to add free parking stalls to combat concerns over the extreme parking prices at privately owned lots in the downtown area.
Hawai‘i County Council passes nearly $1 billion budget for FY 2025-26
Hawai‘i County Mayor Kimo Alameda said the passing of the budget shows unity between the county council and administration, adding the council members understand the county needs and the administration understands theirs.
